28 is Great

Today is my birthday. I have been meaning to get back on the blog and I feel this is as good reason as any.  I am ready to pop any time now.  One reason I haven't kept up the blog is I have been a lazy preggo lady.  But this morning I really thought about the last 28 years and what brought me happiness. And you know what? I really miss exercising. Right now I am so big and uncomfortable it is hard to do anything, but I have been walking almost every day and it feels good. As soon as this baby comes I will be back on the blog full time to show my post pregnancy weight loss.

I have also been thinking about all the things I have done in the last 28 years. So I am going to share some pictures from the last 28 years.  Some are things I am proud of, others just made me really laugh. All make me really happy. Lots of smiles were had today as I looked at pictures and reminisced.  Up to this point I have lived 28 years of awesomeness!!

Growing up
This is the earliest picture I could find of myself today. I am probably two or three (I am the cute on on the very right). I was such a little cutie! I can see a lot of my daughter in this picture, though I think she is tons cuter.

I was a pretty cute teenager with A LOT of freckles

Dream Roles
I love to act and sing. Being on the stage is a passion of mine. Over the years I have been able to be in several musicals, all bringing me great friends and great memories.

I was a jitter bug in "The Wizard of Oz'

My senior year of high school I was cast as Belle in 'Beauty and the Beast'. Dream come true!! That is my favorite Disney movie and I have always wanted to be Belle. I will never forget that experience!

I was Lily St. Regis in 'Annie'

I was in the ensemble for 'Scarlet Pimpernel'

I was cast as the understudy to Jo in 'Little Women'

I was Annie in 'Annie Get Your Gun'. I was actually in this show in high school as ensemble and wore this same exact outfit! Oh yeah!
I am so glad to have all the memories and experiences from these shows.

'Oh, the Places You'll Go'
I have lived in 2 countries and 5 states.  I was born in Connecticut, moved to Georgia, moved to New York, moved to Texas, moved to the Netherlands (when I was an au pair) , moved to Utah, moved back to Texas, and moved back to Utah.

I have travelled to many places in and out of the United States.  I went to Canada several times growing up (Montreal, Quebec, saw Niagara Falls, etc). I have been to The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, and France.

I have seen the Eiffel Tower in person.  When I was a nanny we vacationed in France (amazing experience!) and on the way home we drove through Paris. No biggie.

I have been to the Berlin Wall.  I went to Berlin, Germany with my good friend Ezra. We had a blast. Got lost a lot. Laughed a lot. Climbed fences we shouldn't have. Ate naughty food. And met the sweetest old German lady who showed us a side of the Berlin Wall not a lot of people see.

I have been inside real castles in France.  Dream come true!

I have been to Disney World twice. Once when I was four and once when I was 19.

I have been to Disneyland! We went my parents and our son when he was 3 and a half.

And we went again at New Years!! This time with the hubby's family.
